Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to develop robust Python code for scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
• Manage and maintain code repositories using Git, adopting industry-standard version control techniques to support seamless team collaboration.
• Implement and maintain cloud security standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize workflows by designing, enhancing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a focus on automation, reliability, and scalability.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and APIs using FastAPI, leveraging Azure App Service or equivalent platforms to deliver high-performance, secure solutions.
• Ensure SLF Information Security Policies and General Computing Control is compiled to in all situations.
• Take complete ownership of work assignments and ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure all written and verbal communication is clear, understandable and audience appropriate.
• Flexibility to work on different technologies will be preferred.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Python development.
• Proficiency in Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Django, Flask or more) for API development.
• Expertise in deploying and managing applications on Azure App Service or equivalent platforms.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and artificial intelligence (AI) integration to enhance solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in designing and optimizing workflows and CI/CD automation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive project success
