Machine Learning Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking experienced Machine Learning Engineers to join the team and play a critical role in a transformative project. As part of the migration effort, you will contribute to the modernisation of legacy systems, ensuring strong engineering governance while establishing and supporting coding standards. This role also requires collaboration with a concurrent Google Cloud Data Warehouse implementation that aims to lay strong data foundations integrated with Vertex AI.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in ML workflows.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Vertex AI.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud engineering and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, infrastructure as code).
• Strong understanding of data ingestion pipelines and related tools.
• Ability to work with undocumented legacy systems and improve their functionality while ensuring governance and quality standards.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining engineering governance, including coding standards and best practices.
• Experience doing data analytics and data science works

You’ll be at an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in Snowflake
• Experience in different cloud (e.g. Azure or AWS)
• Experience working in complexing environment such as banking
