The Team and Opportunity
The People Team supports and guides the business across the employee lifecycle from Recruitment through to onboarding, performance coaching, payroll and offboarding. You'll report into the Head of People and Talent Acquisition and work closely with your (fun and passionate!) team mates, the People Partner, Payroll Manager and Office Manager.
This newly created People Operations Specialist role will support the People team to manage the employee lifecycle, payroll and have a key focus on documentation and optimisation of processes. This role will also be responsible for ensuring employee data is accurate for payroll, and reporting requirements.
In this role you'll work on:
- Managing and enhancing the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and internal movements.
- Supporting our Payroll Manager with Payroll processing and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth payroll process
- Being our Systems Administrator and work on optimising our suite of HR Systems - ELMO, KeyPay Payroll and Culture Amp
- Building and distributing regular HR Metrics reports and responding to ad-hoc reporting requests, including WGEA Reporting
- Providing assistance and guidance to internal stakeholders on a broad range of HR policies, programs and practices
- Developing Key Stakeholder relationships, that encourage and facilitate new initiatives to support and enhance HR systems and processes
- Updating and maintaining the Super User, Employee and Manager guides for our systems to accurately reflect the employee lifecycle and processes
What we love to see:
- A Bachelors degree in HR, Business or similar degree
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Operations/Generalist role
- Exposure and interest in Payroll processing
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
