ICT Project Manager

Our client, one of Australia's Local Government Departments is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join them on an initial 12 Month Contract + WFH Flex and Market Rates on Offer !!

THE ROLE

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Information Services projects that support the delivery of the program of work. This will be done by ensuring you are delivering, using and adhering to the identified and adopted delivery framework. You will lead a variety of small, medium, and large technology projects as directed by the Portfolio Delivery Manager. As the Project Manager you will work closely with delivery teams and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget, schedule and to expected scope.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5- 10 year's demonstrated experience in complex ICT organisations delivering fit for purpose and value for money projects.
• 5 - 10 year's demonstrated experience of successfully managing and leading sizeable multi-disciplinary ICT teams involved in delivering medium to large scale, complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability work directly with lead business representatives/project owners often on highly sensitive and confidential matters.
• Demonstrated superior ability to negotiate, influence and manage complex and challenging issues in a sensitive environment, using highly effective relationship building, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL

• Experience and qualifications in methodologies (PMBok or PRINCE2, Agile Fundamentals)
• Project Online, Microsoft Project Professional, M365, D356
• Strong written communication skills
