Compliance Officer, Cryptocurrency

We seek a Compliance Manager to safeguard our organisation, ensuring we adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements, and maintain the highest standards of compliance within the fintech sector.

In this role you will:

• Review transaction reports across OTC desk, exchange, and payment rail platforms to identify any suspicious patterns or high-risk transactions that require investigation
• Coordinate with the operations team on any frozen accounts or pending transactions that require compliance review
• Analyse real-time transaction monitoring alerts, investigating and documenting any suspicious activities across all platforms
• Monitor high-value trades above set thresholds, ensuring proper documentation and source of funds verification
• Support customer-facing teams with complex compliance queries and escalations
• Review and approve marketing materials and new product launches for regulatory compliance
• Liaise with external partners (payment processors, liquidity providers, banking partners) on compliance matters
• Update compliance procedures based on new regulatory requirements or operational changes
• Provide compliance training sessions to new employees and refresher courses to existing staff
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field.
• Experience in financial services compliance, particularly with cryptocurrencies
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools and transaction monitoring systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex compliance requirements to various stakeholders
