The Junior Data Engineer- Business Intelligence role is part of our BI team, responsible to Create, Maintain and Distribute Standard Operational and Data Quality Reports & Dashboards. Perform Preliminary Analysis of Reports & Dashboards. Analyze Business Drivers / Metrics Reporting. Perform Dashboard reconciliations against source systems, as necessary. Produce Ad Hoc Reports.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Working closely with various business units, in the definition and development of management reports and reporting performance measurements solutions.
• Learn, elaborate and deliver on third party applications (e.g., Power BI)
• Perform Quality audits on all outgoing reports and drive reporting standardization across the team
• Ensuring that all the process description and documentation on report is accurate and updated
• Support management/operational reporting standardization across AXA XL. You will report to the Division Lead – BI Development Services.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

• A minimum of an Undergraduate University Degree
• 2-4 years experience in a data role supporting at least one specialty area of Data Management
• Knowlegde in Business Intelligence development skills, with exposure to Power BI. Experience in dahsboard development is a must, experience in SQL is recommended
• Good knoweled on insurance domains
• Exercisesjudgement for decision making on complex issues that impact the department
• Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and techniques, or development of new products and services
• Consistently determines and executes basic research and/or referrals independently
• Demonstrates level of experience/ability to influence, understand business problems in technical terminology
• English as a working language is mastered
