SOC Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Consultant to join our dynamic team! You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our organization by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support to the SOC team, contributing to the implementation and configuration of security solutions.
• Leverage your 5+ years of SOC operations experience to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne, as well as a deep understanding of our client's infrastructure.
• Analyze and manage SOC Level 2 and 3 alerts, taking appropriate action on security incidents.
• Coordinate vulnerability management processes, ensuring timely remediation.
• Conduct quarterly Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting activities to proactively address potential threats.
• Support domain takedown efforts as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure and security landscapes.
• English level C1, Portuguese level C2.
• Remote conditions: 4 days remote, based in Lisbon.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points:

• Experience with other security tools and technologies.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
