Data Analyst (Web3)

Role overview

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Data Analyst to join our innovative blockchain project team. This role focuses on analyzing financial performance, market trends, and user behavior through both on-chain and off-chain data. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of financial markets, proven track record with product metrics, and expertise in Python, R, and SQL.

You will:

• Extract insights from on-chain & off-chain data to analyze market performance and understand user behaviour
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic business decisions
• Monitor and analyze key product metrics to drive product optimization and business growth
• Collaborate with the product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on data-driven strategies
• Track financial trends and market dynamics, particularly in the blockchain and Web3 space, to provide forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement

What you bring:

• In-depth understanding of financial markets and finance metrics
• Solid experience using SQL; experience with Python is a plus
• Outstanding presentation and reporting skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excel in communication and collaboration across teams
• Desire to have skin in the game & make it big

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Prediction Markets
• Understanding of DeFi
• Previous work in a startup/product environment, especially within the DeFi sectors
• Passion for decentralisation and the broader impact of blockchain on industries
• Experience with Big Four accounting firms
• Pipeline building experience
• Experience with product metrics analysis
