Frontend Developer (Mid-level) - Full time position, Ireland

DOCOsoft are hiring a Frontend Developer to work with our Platform team. Our Platform team create innovative, scalable software solutions for the London & Global Insurance Markets. Beyond full involvement in the overall software development lifecycle, this role requires strong technical & problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and responsive frontend applications using Vue.js.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs efficiently.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Develop and maintain frontend unit tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Work within Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and project management.
• Contribute to our automation testing framework (Playwright).
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development.

Skills & Experience

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a frontend developer.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (or another modern JavaScript framework, with a willingness to learn Vue.js).
• Experience with frontend unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Vue Test Utils.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of development tools like VSCode, Visual Studio, and SourceTree.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic understanding of backend integration principles (e.g., REST APIs).
• Familiarity with SQL Server concepts to better collaborate with backend teams.
