DevOps Engineer

PE Global is recruiting for a DevOps Engineer on behalf of our medical device client in Limerick. This is an initial 12-month contract hybrid role.

● Key technical skills

o Strong Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience, both administration and application deployment.

o Strong Azure experience. Experience with other cloud providers beneficial.

o DevOps and associated tools such as ArgoCD

o Technical Kubernetes experience in networking, security, scalability and monitoring.

o Core Kubernetes technical skills such as kubectl, ingress, helm, Prometheus, Grafana

o DevOps tools experience Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, Powershell, Groovy, Python

o Software development experience git/bitbucket, Java, Go

● Beneficial technical skills

SDLC background or experience

o Linux/Windows administration

o Remote Desktop Service Administration (incl. RemoteApp)

o API and web services, either/both implementation and integration experience

o Shop floor manufacturing technology experience, such as MES, Historian, SCADA
