Project Manager

Project Manager Contract Role, Cork Ireland

My clients are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with a strong focus on Agile methodologies to lead and deliver high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Successful candidates will need to be onsite at least 2 days a week in Cork.

The Job:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Agile projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define and prioritize work.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Track and report on project progress using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, cycle time).
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
• Foster a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and customer-centric delivery.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine Agile processes and drive Agile transformation initiatives.

Have you:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Preferred Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent.
