Senior Java Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic team for an exciting project in collaboration with a prominent Scandinavian bank.

You will become a member of the dedicated Softeta SCRUM team, which is engaged in the Financial Flow Infrastructure project for a prominent financial services group in Northern Europe. You will play a key role in developing a standardized and sustainable information exchange solution between banks. We are looking for professionals who prioritize quality, uphold commitments, and thrive in a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, oversee, and sustain services;
  • Work collaboratively with the team while exhibiting a sense of ownership;
  • Ensure high code quality and adhere to industry standards by conducting code reviews and unit testing;
  • Participate in an Agile team environment, converting user stories into operational applications;

Technological stack - Java, REST, Spring Boot, JEE, Servlets, Web services, Hibernate, Gradle Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Jenkins, Docker, GIT.

Requirements

  • Skilled in Java and Spring Boot for back-end development
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns, as well as best practices like unit testing and code reviews
  • Able to take ownership of product design and improve usability
  • Knowledgeable in Object Oriented Design principles and Domain Driven Design principles
  • Experience with microservices architecture and associated tools
  • Proven experience working with APIs, and familiarity with event-driven applications is an advantage.
