Senior Product Manager - Crypto

What is the role about?

Bitvavo is the largest crypto exchange in the Netherlands and one of the leading exchanges in Europe. We are looking for a Product Manager to drive key areas of our retail trading experience, from acquisition and onboarding to trading and customer excellence. You will play a key role in the newly created Crypto Earn team, responsible for crypto staking and lending products for our retail customers. Together we will decide which area of this team is best for you to focus on.

This is a cross-functional team consisting of Backend and Frontend Engineers, an Engineering Manager, a UX Designer, and you as the Product Manager. You will be in the lead, driving initiatives while closely collaborating with other parts of the business to align on short-term objectives and long-term goals

How will you make an impact?

• Define and deliver product strategy, aligning your roadmap with company goals
• Conduct market and user research to identify industry trends and customer needs
• Use data and insights to prioritize initiatives and optimise product performance
• Support engineering teams in delivering new features and product improvements
• Collaborate with finance, treasury, marketing, and support to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  
  

How will you be successful?

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cryptocurrency or fintech
• Experience driving results-driven product teams that deliver on company OKRs and KPIs
• Technical acumen and comfort working closely with software engineers
• Strong expertise in optimizing mobile and web experiences to engage users and improve conversion rates
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and align teams
  
  

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with crypto staking, lending, wallets, or payments
• Knowledge of traditional finance products such as stock trading or banking
• Passion for crypto and blockchain, staying up to date with emerging trends
