Generative AI Engineer

My Client within the Software Development Space based in Utrecht are in search of a Generative AI specialist with experience in Large Language Modelling to join their team and help deploy these LLM based solutions into a product environment. The key roles and responsibilities are listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• LLM Development: Design, implement, and optimize large language models, such as GPT, BERT, or similar architectures, for advanced text generation, summarization, question-answering, translation, and more.
• Model Training & Fine-tuning: Train and fine-tune generative language models on large, diverse datasets, using cutting-edge techniques to improve model performance, efficiency, and relevance across domains.
• Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, large-scale pre-trained models, and unsupervised learning methods, integrating novel approaches to enhance the capabilities of our models.
• Performance Evaluation & Optimization: Measure and evaluate the quality and accuracy of generated text, implementing strategies to enhance coherence, creativity, and real-world applicability.
• Scaling & Deployment: Work on scaling and deploying large language models for real-world applications, ensuring efficient inference and model optimization across various cloud and edge computing platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of transformer-based architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5, etc.) and large-scale pre-trained models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Expertise in natural language understanding, text generation, and semantic representation.
• Familiarity with large-scale training techniques, distributed computing, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of optimization techniques for model inference and memory efficiency.

Salary Package:
