Data Analyst Trainee

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory and descriptive data analysis to generate insights that support decision-making across sectors such as retail, mobility, payments, and infrastructure management;
• Develop clear and effective reports and dashboards that communicate insights to diverse audiences using storytelling and visualization techniques;
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data quality, availability, and accessibility;
• Contribute to defining business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
• Support the transformation of business challenges into data-driven solutions;
• Stay informed about trends and innovations in Data Analytics and visualization tools (mainly PowerBI);
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team expertise and promote organizational Data Literacy.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Recently completed higher education in Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Basic proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio;
• Basic experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation; exposure to programming languages like Python or R is a plus;
• Fundamental understanding of descriptive statistics and data analysis concepts;
• Exposure to data modeling, data wrangling, and data visualization;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels;
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate results;
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities;
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
• Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
