JavaScript Developer

Location: Romania (Remote, occasional business trips)

Contract: 6 Months +

Start: ASAP

Rate: 34 euros an hour

Responsibilities:

• Gradually refactor legacy code to improve performance and resilience.
• Mentor and train full-stack developers to enhance their frontend skills.
• Develop and maintain the component library.
• Collaborate with product teams and the innovation lab to drive frontend innovations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Proactive in identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and contributing to team growth.
• Experience improving scalability, performance, and maintainability of code.
• Ability to build projects from the ground up.
• Strong English communication skills to ensure team alignment.

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: Vue.js 3 (mandatory), Pinia, Vite, JavaScript.
• Front-end UI component libraries: Vue, Vuetify, Quasar, CSS/SCSS, Vite, Vue CLI, Webpack.
• Mobile app: Ionic and Capacitor with Cordova.
• Code hosting: Monorepo in GitLab, deployed via GitLab CI/CD.
• Containerization: Docker.
• Cloud provider: Scaleway.
