• Design Robust Environments: Assess infrastructure requirements and create environments using containers or virtualization in both public and private cloud settings.
• Manage Tasks Effectively: Utilize Jira for task management, ensuring timely resolution and progress tracking.
• Document with Clarity: Use Confluence and Git to document projects and procedures, promoting transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure Connectivity: Facilitate seamless connectivity between public and private cloud environments and on-premises systems.
• Scale with Agility: Lead scaling activities to balance application needs with infrastructure capacity, ensuring optimal performance.
• Monitor & Alert: Develop infrastructure monitoring solutions and automate alerts to proactively address issues.
• Enhance Application Monitoring: Take the initiative to develop and maintain application monitoring through APIs and log parsers.
• Create Insightful Dashboards: Design and maintain dashboards for performance monitoring, providing valuable insights to the team.
• Be On-Call: Participate in on-call activities to address incidents and ensure system reliability.
• Uphold Security Standards: Apply security policies in line with Vodafone standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Partners: Engage with external partners to identify and implement the best solutions for our needs.
• Adhere to Regulations: Respect internal regulations, policies, and the Vodafone Group’s Code of Conduct.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in mandatory internal courses and professional training programs to enhance your skills.
• Set Goals Together: Collaborate with your manager to establish individual and group objectives for both professional and personal development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Linux Fundamentals: Solid understanding of LAMP stack, networking, and standard services.
• Scripting Proficiency: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Container Management: Skilled in managing and orchestrating containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implementation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Chef, and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Web Application Architecture: Knowledgeable in web server technologies, including Apache and Nginx.
• Performance Monitoring: Proficient in using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and APM to ensure optimal system performance.
• CI/CD & Microservices: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
• Public Cloud Expertise: Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Security Practices: Strong grasp of security concepts and best practices for maintaining infrastructure environments.
