Java Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Java Backend Engineer to help build out our high-load ad serving system, capable of handling over 3M requests/second under 300ms response time. Our backend platform team is a highly talented collaborative group of developers with a number of interesting technical challenges that will excite the best of superstars. You will get experience working with various technologies like Cassandra, Elastic Search, Aerospike, Kubernetes, Clickhouse and Kafka. Your responsibilities will depend on your years of experience and accomplishments.

Experience:

Required:

• 2+ years' experience in working in development teams doing daily commits into a single code base
• 2+ years of working experience with Java, Spring
• Experience in reactive programming (RxJava, CompletableFuture, etc)
• Experience with SQL DB (PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle)
• Experience with NoSQL DB (Mongo, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc)
  
  

Desirable:

• Knowledge of database optimization
• Knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop features and performance optimization for our Java ad-serving application
• Implement complex targeting algorithms developed by our data science team into the core ad-serving flow
