Senior Manager - Cyber Security (Data Protection)

Overview:

We are working with a leading global management consultancy to recruit a 'Senior Manager - Cyber Security & Data Governance'. This strategic role will be pivotal in supporting clients across various industries to establish and enhance their data governance and information security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in data governance, data protection, and risk management, ensuring that clients’ data is secure, compliant, and well-governed. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and advising on comprehensive data management strategies to enhance data quality, security, and compliance across the organisation.

Core Competencies:

• Good understanding of data protection laws and regulations
• Experience with data security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, IAM)
• Understanding of IT systems (Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, On-prem, Network, Storage, Databases) and Understanding of OT systems
• Understanding of IT architecture and Enterprise Architecture
• Understanding of Cybersecurity and Information Security Architecture
• Understanding of Risk

You have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Data protection and privacy compliance: Experience with and implementation of GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and other relevant data protection regulations and standards.
• Experience in investigating and handling data breaches and security incidents, including triage and mitigation.
• Risk management and assessment: Conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing risk-reducing strategies.
• Data governance and management: Experience in developing and implementing frameworks, policies, and procedures for data governance for both structured and unstructured data.
• Information protection and handling.
• ZeroTrust and Cloud Security.
• Competence and/or certification in, for example, CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, Cloud platforms (M365, Microsoft Purview, Azure, AWS, GCP) or other security solutions; Collibra; DAMA; OneTrust, etc.

2. SC-100: Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
3. SC-400: Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate
4. SC-300: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
5. MS-500: Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
6. AZ-500: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
