About the Company:

Our partner is a leading online community for FTSE 350 board members and FTSE 100 executive committee members. They provide a secure platform for members to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. Additionally, they offer access to commercial NED vacancies and equity research, as well as opportunities to engage in private video events. The platform has moved extremely rapidly in terms of taking investment, monetising and attracting corporate partners and members. It now represents almost all of the FTSE 100 index and is scaling.

About the Role:

They are looking to expand their team and hire an exceptional Full Stack Engineer to join their London team. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, contributing to both product development and strategic leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems, optimising databases, and ensuring seamless integration through DevOps practices. You’ll work with agile methodologies to develop features and improve system security, while collaborating closely with the team on strategic product development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend systems using Python and PHP (Laravel), ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Develop and optimise frontend components with Angular, delivering a seamless user experience.
• Design, manage, and optimise SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement best practices in cybersecurity and data protection, aligning with compliance standards for high-level executive platforms.
• Work within an agile team, actively participating in sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Apply CI/CD and DevOps principles to streamline deployment and automation.
• Contribute to product development and strategic decisions, taking ownership of technical challenges in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Requirements:

• 1.5 - 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems and database management.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP (Laravel), Angular, and SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a small, dynamic team.
