DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (SME) to lead and train a team transitioning from Azure to AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services and strong DevOps experience, with a focus on infrastructure as code and automation. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on implementation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor an existing team on best practices for deploying infrastructure and applications on AWS.
• Guide the migration from Azure to AWS, ensuring best practices and efficiency.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Glue, SageMaker, and others.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud architecture and automation strategies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications and deployments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Senior-level AWS expertise with deep knowledge of core AWS services.
• Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
• Prior experience in Azure-to-AWS migration is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead and train teams on AWS best practices and deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
