DevOps Specialist

Agilus' client is a leader in the Canadian insurance industry and is adding a skilled Sr. Salesforce DevOps Specialist to their team.

Responsibilities

• You will join a team responsible for shipping thousands of features to Salesforce Sandboxes and 100s of features to production every month.
• Manage and support deployment and configuration across all Salesforce Applications and Platforms for multiple lines of business.
• Work as part of the Salesforce Platform Engineering team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
• Create new and help maintain existing Salesforce processes and to understand cross functional impacts regarding configuration, and process.
• Troubleshooting and incident management.
• Maintain Salesforce best practices, policies and procedures regarding coding standards, versioning, quality, and configuration.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years’ experience in Salesforce DevOps using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gitlab, Github.
• In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC.
• Experience managing salesforce sandboxes, meta data, and refreshing sandboxes.
• A dedicated team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SF IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Source Code, etc.).
• Experience with JIRA and confluence.
• Experience with various code repositories.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience in a Scrum/Agile Environment.

• Strong ability to showcase your ability to set priorities, manage project timelines and work with limited supervision.
