What You Will Do:
- You will lead and mentor a team of UX designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
- You will develop and implement UX strategies that enhance user satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
- You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and design solutions.
- You will collaborate on user research, usability testing, and gathering insights to inform design decisions.
- You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.
- You will advocate for best practices in user-centered design and accessibility.
- You will stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant practices into the design process.
- You will present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.
- 8+ years of progressive responsibility in UX design and implementation
- 3+ years of experience managing successful teams
- Experience shipping multiple products from concept to completion
- Experience designing and managing large-scale projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled at both independent work and effective collaboration within a team environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution
- BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
- You will report to the Director of Experience Design
