UI/UX Designer - Chatbot / AI, Marketplace (Fresh Graduates Welcome!)

Sub-Team Description

In Shopee, we adopt a customer-first philosophy when designing our products to create a seamless online shopping experience for our sellers. We are looking for UI/UX designers to join us in adopting a user-centric approach when designing some of our core e-commerce features, to improve sellers' experience and revenues, like listing products, managing inventory, monitoring performance, and efficiently managing customers through the platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional, highly capable team of designers, product managers, and engineers to analyze seller behaviors and identify opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Job Description:

• Familiar with e-commerce business models and corresponding user journeys, with extreme attention and sensitivity to user experience
• Collaborate closely with our seller services team to conceptualize and design B2B products that address specific market needs
• Refine visual designs, UI/UX prototypes, and product specifications with a clear focus on enhancing user experience and client satisfaction
• Engage in design thinking processes to solve complex challenges and contribute innovative solutions to our products
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and emerging industries to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in UI/UX Design or a related field
• Experience in user-centric project design or relevant internship/work experience is preferred
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creative abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong logical thinking skills and ability to solve complex design challenges
• Interest in and awareness of emerging industries and technologies
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (basic) to facilitate cross-border discussions and collaborations with stakeholders from China
