Senior Program Manager/Chief of Staff – Strategic Transformation & Sales Enablement

Role Overview:
As we transition to a software-first model, Univers is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager/Chief of Staff to lead our Net-Zero Strategy & Sales Enablement initiatives. This pivotal role is designed to manage critical workstreams, establish a regular cadence of alignment across executive teams, and create the operational infrastructure necessary to achieve our strategic goals. Acting as a linchpin between sales, product, and marketing, you will ensure our net-zero solutions resonate within key industry verticals and that our teams are equipped to deliver measurable impact.
In this non-quota-carrying role, you will be the operational backbone, translating strategy into structured, actionable deliverables, and setting up the rhythms, metrics, and reporting to keep leadership informed and aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management & Operational Cadence: Establish and lead regular cadences for executive reviews, cross-functional meetings, and strategic alignment sessions.
- Ensure critical workstreams progress smoothly, are aligned with quarterly and annual objectives, and are communicated effectively across leadership teams.
- Net-Zero Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights: Conduct industry research on net-zero trends and priorities, focusing on verticals such as commercial real estate, manufacturing, and energy. Translate these insights into actionable strategies that guide our product and sales teams to meet emerging demands and regulatory shifts.
- Industry-Specific Playbooks & Enablement: Develop tailored playbooks for key industry verticals, clearly articulating how Univers’s solutions address net-zero goals. Equip sales teams with compelling narratives that demonstrate our product value in AI-driven, IoT-enabled, and cloud-based energy management.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives. Deliver regular data-driven insights to senior leadership, highlighting progress, areas for improvement, and alignment with the company’s software-first goals.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication: Act as a key liaison between sales, product, and marketing teams, facilitating synchronized efforts and clear communication. Organize and facilitate cross-departmental meetings, ensuring updates are brought to senior leadership on strategy execution and outcomes.
- Process Optimization: Review and refine processes across sales, product, and marketing to identify bottlenecks, drive efficiency, and improve collaboration. Develop frameworks to streamline workflows and enhance responsiveness to critical initiatives.
- Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify potential risks within key workstreams and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Ensure the business remains agile and resilient by flagging potential roadblocks early and collaborating on risk response plans.
- Knowledge Management & Best Practices Sharing: Create a repository of best practices, successful strategies, and learnings from project executions. Share these insights across teams to ensure knowledge flow and enhance future project effectiveness.
- Internal Training & Capability Building: Identify skill gaps within the sales, product, and marketing teams, organizing training sessions to build the capabilities needed for the company’s software-first transformation and evolving client needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications in Program Management, Strategy, or Sustainability are preferred.
- Program Management Experience: 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or strategic roles within fast-paced organizations. Proven track record of managing critical workstreams, implementing executive reporting structures, and driving results.
- Net-Zero Industry Expertise: Knowledge of net-zero strategies and sustainable business practices, ideally with experience in industries such as energy management, commercial real estate, or consulting.
- Strategic Alignment & Sales Enablement: Success in aligning strategic initiatives with sales objectives, developing enablement materials, and building frameworks that help sales communicate the net-zero value effectively.
- Executive Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate strategic priorities concisely to executive teams. Experienced in managing and facilitating executive-level meeting cadences to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficient in tracking key metrics, deriving insights, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Collaborative Approach: A strong team player with experience in building consensus, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and working within fast-evolving environments.
