Network Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Network Engineer in Miami, FL. Responsibilities:

• Network Engineer will be responsible for the coverage and capacity statistical analysis of satellite networks
• Technical and statistical analysis for various scenarios involving satellite communication links
• Evaluate actual usage along with forecasted usage based on expected growth and feature support
• Review weekly satellite performance and provide reports on action areas
• As a Network Engineer, you will support capacity requirement development for satellite networks by evaluating actual usage along with forecasted usage based on expected growth and feature support
• Support development of budget for regional capital requirements and corresponding data costs
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technology
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the satellite and/or telecommunications industry
  
  

Technical Competency In The Following Areas

• Satellite systems
• Communication system performance analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work well in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills including technical documentation, written reports and proposals, development and delivery of presentations and the ability to listen to and communicate effectively with customers and vendors
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
