Purpose Of The Job

We are looking for an experienced SDUI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a scalable Server-Driven UI (SDUI) solution for our mobile applications. This role encompasses architecting both server and client components to deliver dynamic, personalized, and configurable experiences for millions of active users. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams, ensure high performance, and align with business goals while addressing non-functional requirements (NFRs) like scalability, reliability, and security.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Architect the end-to-end SDUI framework, defining clear server-client boundaries and ensuring modular, reusable solutions for both server-side and mobile platforms.

Should be able to understand the existing SDUI framework implementation and recommend gaps and improvements.

Design and implement server-side systems for delivering UI schemas, configurations, and personalized content, leveraging APIs, CMS, and DSL-driven engines.

Develop scalable, dynamic UI rendering frameworks for iOS and Android, supporting market-specific configurations, feature flagging, and A/B testing.

Optimize server-side performance with caching, CDN strategies, and low-latency API design, addressing NFRs such as scalability, security, and fault tolerance.

Partner with backend, mobile, product, UX, and DevOps teams to align on business requirements, API designs, and technical implementations.

Define KPIs for monitoring performance, analyze feedback, and continuously refine the SDUI system for better user experiences.

Provide technical leadership by mentoring teams, conducting code reviews, and driving architectural discussions and best practices.

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

7+ years of experience in mobile and backend development, with expertise in SDUI and scalable system design.

Proven ability in designing Server Driven UI solutions.

Strong skills in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), and server-side technologies with REST, GraphQL, or Protobuf APIs.

Proven ability to address NFRs like performance, reliability, and security for high-traffic applications.

Familiarity with QSR or large-scale e-commerce apps is a plus.
