Responsibilities

  • Develop both expertise and understanding of wearable software and develop software for the Pixel watch system software team, working on both next generation and legacy products.
  • Design, development and support for the Pixel watch System Software, including contributing to BSP/kernel/storage, new board/IP bringup, thermal, charging and working with silicon vendor teams.
  • Find solutions to unique problems faced while making a product worth launching, pay attention to user journeys and experiences.
  • Focus on power/performance/battery life and overall software quality and stability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to propose and drive new changes, add new features to WearOS/Android as well as lighting up features on Pixel Watches.
