Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, secure code in accordance with our standards
- Document code consistently throughout the development process
- Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team and generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Computer Science / IT
- Experience with any of the below technologies looked upon favourably:
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- React / React Native
- Node.js
- SQL (MSSQL, MySQL or other developer DBMS experience)
- Serverless / AWS basic architecture and experience for Software Engineering
- Passionate about all things software development and AI
- Understanding of version control tools such as GIT
- Experience creating software or undertaking projects in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A portfolio or github with projects you’ve contributed to
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira would also be a plus
- Experience working and collaborating with Product Designers or UX/UI Designers
- Experience working from design tools such as Figma
