For our client in the region of Brussels, we are looking for an iOS Mobile Developer.

What You Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert iOS Native Developer to join our innovative team.

The candidate will be responsible for building a robust and scalable framework to load and integrate web-tech based application modules into our existing iOS application, in close collaboration with their Android colleague.

This role requires deep expertise in iOS development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating seamless and efficient user experiences. You will have strong impact on our 1.5M+ monthly active users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and test a modular framework that seamlessly loads and integrates web-based application modules into our iOS applications.
  • Define the interfaces needed for the web-based modules to work correctly and integrate deeply with the user identiy, navigation and routing of the native application.
  • Collaborate with functional product teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers to help them with the Angular-based module implementation
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the framework and development processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and standards.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.
  • Proven experience in the front-end architecture of native iOS applications.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with native iOS applications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services.
  • Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and profiling tools for iOS.
  • Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with hybrid app development frameworks such as Cordova, Capacitor or Ionic.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub profile showcasing relevant projects.
  • Fluent in Dutch, and good understanding of the French language.
