Role Description:

We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the development of sustainability solutions within the energy sector. This role will focus on creating market-fit products that align with the energy transition, particularly in the areas of CO2 intensity indicators and 24/7 matching of production and consumption. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital transformation, sustainability, and the energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning it with customer needs and company goals.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including energy service providers and customers.
• Lead product implementation, ensuring market-product fit for sustainability solutions in Belgium and support for the German market.
• Participate in industry events, workshops, and conferences to promote product offerings.
• Drive the digital transformation and platformisation strategy within product development.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of product functionalities.
• Challenge design principles and technical solutions to meet operational and market needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager, ideally within the digital software or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability concepts in the energy market.
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French; German is a plus.
• Experience with launching products, managing stakeholder relationships, and working in dynamic environments.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Customer-oriented, solution-driven, and proactive approach.

Additional Information:

• Full-time role, based in Empereur with potential travel to Berlin.
• Candidates must comply with Belgian work and residence permit regulations if applying from outside the EU.
