We are now looking for Product Designer, SAP Logistics

Come aboard KONE IT and join a dynamic Supply Chain IT team, which is the heart of the business, reshaping urban mobility through cutting-edge solutions and technologies.

As the Product Designer, SAP Logistics, You are accountable for the functional and non-functional design for SAP logistics solutions and integrations with satellite systems like TMS. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into functional specifications then working with other internal and external experts to ensure fit for purpose designs that are aligned with KONE IT architectural principles.

This position will be based in Espoo, Finland and you will report to the Product Manager, Logistics.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the business requirement analysis process with Product Owner, business stakeholders, process owners, designers and developers and help to prioritize business requirements for coming releases
  • Participate in creation of the Solution and Product Roadmap with the Product Owner and business stakeholders
  • Review, estimate, and design solutions/functionalities of business requirements and approve the design when done by others
  • Compile, review and maintain required solution design documentation and related KONE Way documents
  • Responsible for the data and application architectural compliance in collaboration with Architects and solution design consistency in collaboration with Configuration Owners or other equivalent technical roles
  • Support the User Acceptance Testing
  • Have full design ownership of SAP logistics area & satellite systems including the physical data model
  • Participate in global development projects and continuous development to ensure that the built solution meets business requirements while maximizing use of standard functionalities
  • Guide the application support to solve complex problems and support business processes when needed
  • Ensure a positive employee experience, emphasizing transparency, clarity, and learning opportunities

Skills & experience we`re looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in logistics operations and IT
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP related technologies, data model and interface
  • Solid logistics business process understanding of in/outbound logistics business processes incl. transportation management & collaboration/integration with Logistic Service Providers
  • Experience of SAP LE, SD and MM modules in the context of logistics and transportation management is essential. Additional experience of integration to non-SAP technologies and SAP S/4 HANA is favorable. Additional experience of integration to non-SAP technologies/satellites and SAP S/4 HANA & SAP TM & SAP BN4L is favorable
  • Skilled at operating in global environments, driving alignment, and delivering impactful results across interconnected systems
  • Solid logistics and supply chain business process end-to-end understanding including knowledge of integrations with supplier network and logistics service providers & carriers
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills supporting good relationship building with business stakeholders and peers
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Experience in working in international environment with stakeholders and teams distributed globally
  • University level degree or equivalent
