Senior Game Artist - Portfolio Games

Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.

You’ll be part of our central Portfolio team within the Live team at Voodoo, an international team focused on reviving a selection of our biggest legacy games to give them a second life.

Role:

We're seeking a talented Senior 3D Artist to join our team and help bring our low-poly mobile game to life. As a key member of our art team, you will be working closely with the General Manager to help shape and define the game's visual style, ensuring that all 3D assets are in line with the overall art direction and contribute to the game's unique aesthetic. You will be responsible for creating stunning 3D assets, from characters and environments to props, all while maintaining mobile optimisation best practices. You will be expected to be able to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of your tasks and solving problems as they arise.

• Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and assets, ensuring seamless integration into Unity.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to define and enhance the game’s visual identity and style.
• Propose game improvements (art and other product features)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure assets meet both technical and artistic requirements.
• Partner with production and the team to ensure timely delivery of assets that meet the project’s specifications.
• Stay informed and continuously learn about emerging trends, tools, and techniques in 3D art and game development.

• 3D Art Expertise: Proven skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting. Experience with animation and VFX is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Unity and 3D content creation tools (proficiency in Blender is a strong plus).
• 2D Art Capabilities: Basic experience in 2D art, with the ability to contribute to UI redesigns and create mockups for future improvements.
• Mobile Game Development Experience: Demonstrated experience working on mobile game projects throughout various stages of development.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyse and address artistic and technical challenges effectively.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and team-oriented approach to collaboration.
• Self-Motivation: A self-driven individual capable of working independently while aligning with team goals and timelines.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
