DevOps Engineer (50% DevOps: 50% SysAdmin)

I am representing a small, but powerful, FinTec company based in Hamburg whose product is a supply chain financing solution and has had huge success in recent years.

Founded in 2013, they celebrated their 10 year anniversary last year and are financially secure. They are currently going through a growth spurt, and went from 25 to 42 people last year (now at 50), with more growth happening this year across verticals. Something unique about them is that they didn't make any lay-offs since covid, unlike most IT companies in the world, showing their commitment to their staff but also their stability as an employer.

Last year I placed their current Engineering Leader there, and he is a super passionate, friendly and experienced leader and coach who is inspiring, and driving things forward since his start. He would be a great leader to work for, his focus is on up-skilling, empowering and being a supportive figure who you can trust and who you know has your back.

What they need is a system admin, someone with Linux admin skills who ideally has worked in a devops role too (inc. topics like OOP, automation, Docker). They also want someone who is curious and likes to have deep technical conversations with their team to innovate and to problem solve.

There is a hybrid policy of 2-3 days per week in their Hamburg Altona office.

English fluency is needed in this role, German is a bonus.
