Reserving and Validation Actuary

In this role, you'll validate technical reserves, contribute to Solvency Capital Requirement calculations, and support reporting automation. We're looking for candidate with an actuarial or data analysis background, strong analytical skills, and experience with tools like R or Python. Fluency in English and the local language is required.

Responsibilities

• Validate technical reserves calculations (Solvency II basis) and present validation results.

• Prepare data for technical reserves calculation and participate in calculation of technical provisions (IFRS basis).

• Participate in Solvency Capital Requirement calculation process and related activities, including reporting.

• Participate in report automatization activities.

• Participate in statutory reporting activities.

Our expectations

• Higher academic education in mathematics, statistics, IT or actuarial science.

• Previous work experience as actuary or data analyst in the insurance industry.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Experience in data processing.

• Good analytical and mathematical skills, accurate working methods, strong attention to details.

• Experience with data management programs (e.g. R,Python, SAS); experience with R is not mandatory, although it is preferred.

• High analytical skills to handle complex tasks, forward-looking and strategic thinking.

• Knowledge of IFRS17 and/or Solvency II.

• Capable of analysing data, drawing insights, creating presentations, and providing feedback.

• Very good knowledge of Excel.

• Fluent English and local language skills.

Salary: 3000 EUR to 3600 EUR per month before taxes (based on experience and qualification).
