Middle .Net Developer

Project description

As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a team of developers working on a web application to automate analysis of customer financial information. You will develop a mortgage offer aggregator that allows users to upload all financial documents and get information on the conditions for getting a mortgage. The platform contains multiple areas of functionality, such as CRM system, document processing, IP-telephony integration, and various engines to automate financial calculations.

Frontend: React.js (hooks), Redux (redux-toolkit), TypeScript, Vanilla JS, Formik, Material-UI, styled-components

Backend: .NET Core, EF Core, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, xUnit

Architecture: Microservices, Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design (DDD), CQRS

Databases: MS SQL Server (Azure)

Team structure and Workflow

The team is integrated and allocated in Poland, Ukraine and Chicago. Team members use Azure DevOps to work with backlog and prioritize items. Communication mainly consists of daily meetings and interpersonal communication via Discord and Google Meet. We’re following the Scrum process and practicing the Agile Way of Working in close, day-to-day collaboration with each other.

Responsibility

• Design and develop software application
• Analyze requirements and collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs
• Provide accurate estimates on work items
• Maintain coding standards and participate in peer code reviews
• Facilitate engineering operation process to ensure high-quality software solutions concerning engineering excellence
• Assess solution architecture in terms of vulnerabilities and possible improvements

Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET Core
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development, use of design patterns and approaches (DDD, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with EF, e.g., code first, migrations, writing performance-optimized queries, knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Knowledge and participation in all stages of the SDLC processes
• Experience with Azure is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and be innovative where needed
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Intermediate English level or higher
