Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager for our facilities team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of facility management services, ensuring that operations are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the client’s expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management, project management, and a strong understanding of health, safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of Total Facilities Management projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Client Liaison & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the client, vendors, and the internal team. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the project team, ensuring they are working efficiently and in line with project timelines and quality expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to address issues before they arise. Manage any project deviations or issues with appropriate corrective actions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that the project complies with all relevant regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements, creating a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor the progress of the project and produce regular reports for clients and senior management, highlighting milestones, risks, and any adjustments needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities management services in line with contractual obligations and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Total Facilities Management projects, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of facilities management services, systems, and technologies. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multi-disciplinary projects.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and teams at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with large-scale or multi-site facilities management contracts.
- Knowledge of sustainable practices and energy management in facilities operations.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices for facilities management.
