Senior Solutions Architect - Wealth & investment -Abu Dhabi

We have an urgent requirement for Senior Solutions Architect - implementation and Production support of Wealth & investment systems is required for one of our banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Experience with implementation and Production support of Wealth & investment systems is MUST to apply for this role

Experience In Brokerage And Trading Domain Is Must

Experience in at least one system for trading in UAE (ADX & DFM), and international markets is MUST

Experience on Consumer banking products and services such as savings accounts, loans, mortgages, credit cards, and online banking is MUST

Experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions is MUST

The first round is online test on Gorilla for 1.5 hours. Candidates ready to give rest, shall only apply .

Banking domain is MUST

UAE Based Is Much Preferred.

Core domain and techno-functional competencies

  • Strong experience with implementation and Production support of Wealth & investment systems. Focused experience with wealth asset classes (equities, bonds, funds..etc), retirement planning, corporate actions, and Robo Advisory.
  • Strong experience in Brokerage and Trading domain. Deep Knowledge of at least one system for trading in UAE (ADX & DFM), and international markets.
  • Exposure to Virtual assets model and implementations.
  • Knowledge in Bancassurance systems, and Initial Public offering (IPO) systems.
  • Take up on-call rotation role and provide 24/7 technical support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently, provide Root cause analysis, and provider permanent resolution.
  • Graphical reporting for the health of supported systems.
  • Coordination with respective product owner(s) for strategic enhancements to improve the systems’ resilience.

Functional Competencies

  • Understanding of Consumer banking products and services such as savings accounts, loans, mortgages, credit cards, and online banking.
  • Knowledge of UAE banking regulations, Central Bank guidelines, Open Banking and international banking standards.
  • Insight into risk assessment, fraud detection, and mitigation strategies specific to consumer banking.
  • Understanding in payment systems, transaction processing, and settlement mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex banking challenges.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the rapidly changing banking landscape and new technologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices for change management and code releases.

Technical competencies

  • Experience in software development, including proficiency in programming languages (Java, .net Core and frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and moderate knowledge NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in designing and using APIs, microservices, and integration solutions.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations and security architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies in Fintech, such as blockchain, AI/ML, and digital wallets.
  • Proficiency in architectural design tools (Visio, Draw.io).
  • Familiarity with project management software (JIRA, Confluence)
