Your responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for offshore crane systems using Python and C++
  • Data Engineering: Implement data pipelines and ETL processes to handle complex datasets efficiently
  • Interface Design: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for monitoring and controlling offshore cranes
  • System Integration: Integrate software components with hardware systems to ensure seamless operation
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and C++
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages
    • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and tools
    • Experience with interface design and user experience (UX) principles
    • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of offshore crane systems or similar industrial equipment is a plus
    • Experience with real-time systems and embedded software development is advantageous
