Join our dynamic team in Peterborough as Backend Developer, Junior . This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position, offering the perfect balance of three days in the office and two days working from home. The role purpose

Develop cloud-based solutions to a high standard, understand industry best practices within development teams. Be involved with the evolving company culture and encourage others to do the same.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop first class tech solutions in an Azure environment, within an Agile development team
• Understand and take part in technical decisions within the team
• Challenge accepted standards and the way we work, ask questions to improve performance and quality
• When required, collaborate with other departments/stakeholders to enquire about needs/requirements
• Show enthusiasm and pride in the work you complete

What You Will Likely Bring

• Able to pick up new concepts and technologies
• Experience working in a strategic and tactical development environment
• Isn’t afraid to admit failure and learn from it
• Working knowledge of .NET Core, Azure or other cloud environments and relational databases
• Performing peer reviews, including testing and code reviews
• Developing solutions according to designs agreed during design discussions and workshops
• Experience designing and documenting small to medium scale changes
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
