Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking two skilled Mobile Application Developers with expertise in React Native to join our dynamic team. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external teams, focusing on delivering cutting-edge software solutions for one of our key clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement critical software features while contributing to architecture design.
• Champion best practices, development principles, and performance optimization.
• Support the Engineering Manager in delivering product features, managing timelines, and removing blockers to ensure smooth Sprint execution.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Hybrid work requirement: Must be available to work three days a week in our downtown Vancouver office.
• Experience: 5+ years in mobile app development, including at least 3 years with React Native.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Experience with mobile app architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Redux).
• Hands-on experience with iOS/Android native development, including features like push notifications, contacts, GPS, calling, and SMS.
• Familiarity with tools and libraries such as Expo, Firebase, Realm, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile application testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience publishing apps on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play.
• Background in real estate or similar domain applications.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices.
