Data Analyst Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a data analyst intern with a strong sense of social mission. This role is seconded to NTUC First Campus, as a part of NTUC First Campus's multidisciplinary data team consisting of data engineers, data scientists and data analysts. You will report to the Data Lead, who is accountable to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer and the NTUC Nexus Chief Data Officer. As an analyst intern, you will contribute to company mission of delivering quality services by helping the organisation harness the value of her data. In your work, you will conduct data analysis in a cloud-based environment, and have opportunities to work with key business stakeholders on high impact data projects within NTUC First Campus and across other NTUC social enterprises.

Besides being plugged into NTUC First Campus, you will continue to be a member of the NTUC Nexus family, a vibrant tech community made up of individuals passionate about tech and social good. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated data wrangler who has a knack for problem solving, to effectively support the development and implementation of data solutions. He/she should possess fundamental skills for data processing and interpretation to derive valuable insights, and is able to present those insights coherently to stakeholders.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users, tech team and data engineers to understand the context and meaning of NFC’s data
• Assemble large, complex data sets using SQL and Python
• Collaborate with the project team and implement data solutions, such as key reporting dashboards
• Support the seamless integration of analytics insights into business processes
