The Role

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to own end-to-end feature and capability development, helping us break into new business lines while improving our core platform. You’ll work closely with our Head of Product and Head of Engineering in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment, where iteration speed and execution matter.

This role requires a builder mindset, someone who thrives on solving tough problems, shipping quickly, and taking ownership of key technical initiatives across both frontend and backend. While we embrace flexibility, we expect this role to be in-office more days than not, fostering real-time collaboration and rapid decision-making.

Responsibilities

Backend Development:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that enable new business lines and product capabilities via partner APIs.
• Work with Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL to build robust APIs and backend logic.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize queries.
• Ensure backend security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards.

Frontend Development:

• Translate product vision and designs into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Work with React, TypeScript, and Material-UI to build interactive and scalable front-end applications.
• Optimize for performance, accessibility, and responsive design across different devices.
• Participate in code reviews, UI/UX discussions, and performance optimizations to improve the overall product experience.

• Frontend: React SPA, GraphQL, TypeScript, Material-UI
• Backend: Node.js, Express, TypeScript, GraphQL
• Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, AWS, Automated pipeline deployments, Lambda

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in fullstack software development, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong experience with Node.js and SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with React, GraphQL, and TypeScript (or willingness to ramp up quickly).
• You have a keen eye for UI/UX details and care about building elegant, user-friendly interfaces.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-collaboration environments with a bias for action.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with product, design, and leadership.
• A problem-solving mindset: you don’t wait for solutions - you create them.
