Network Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role involves working with cutting-edge networking technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-level systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CISCO switches and other networking hardware.
• Manage and optimize Meraki wireless controllers for robust wireless connectivity.
• Implement and maintain SD-WAN solutions to ensure efficient and secure network operations.
• Monitor and configure routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) for optimal traffic management.
• Apply advanced switching concepts, including VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocols.
• Perform network performance analysis and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Provide support and documentation for network operations, including disaster recovery planning.
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience with CISCO switches and related networking hardware.
• Proficiency in managing Meraki wireless controllers.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions.
• In-depth understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching concepts.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, to support multilingual environments.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise-level network deployment and management.
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions.
