DeltaV FLS Engineer

Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), 4-cycle rotation (24/7 coverage)

Job Summary:

RP International are seeking a skilled Shift Automation Engineer for one our leading Consultancy clients. In this role you will provide real-time support, maintenance, and optimization of DeltaV automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will also be responsibly for troubleshooting, programming, and collaborating on automation projects while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time support for automation systems (AIS) following GAMP standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and process-related issues.
• Develop and optimize DeltaV-based automation code for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure deliverables for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams on design and test specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of DeltaV experience, including batch process control (S88) in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other control platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
• Knowledge of regulated industry standards and validation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with system integration and upgrades for DeltaV platforms.
• Working knowledge of automation systems like Unicorn and SAP.
