Developer Test Automation (f/m/d)

Join a dynamic startup environment backed by a large renewable energy company in Madrid! As an In-house Developer Test Automation, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the corporate IT center and driving software quality through innovative automated testing solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure high standards, while also sharing your expertise to train colleagues and act as a key test automation resource.

What You’ll Do:

+ Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to improve processes and expand test coverage

+ Collaborate with teams to design test cases and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

+ Use algorithms like pairwise and linear expansion to optimise test coverage.

+ Build and run performance and load tests to evaluate system scalability and response times.

+ Execute functional and regression tests, identify software defects, and partner with developers to resolve issues.

+ Manage test repositories and stay ahead of industry best practices for continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

+ A degree in Computer Science (or related field) with a passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

+ Proven collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and customers.

+ Experience in test automation, software development, and Tricentis tools like qTest and Tosca would be fantastic however Selenium, Worksoft, Katalon Studio, or SAP Cloud ALM also readily considered.

+ Strong programming skills (Java or C#) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

+ Fluent English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
