Usability Engineer, Eye Tracking (Tobii) for Mobile Apps

At Raiffeisen Bank Romania, we're integrating innovative technologies to enhance our digital banking products, especially our mobile applications. We are excited to offer an internship opportunity in our research department for a Usability Engineer Intern.

This role will focus on utilizing Tobii eye-tracking software to gather valuable insights into user interactions with our mobile banking applications.

Duration: 12 months, with a flexible start date

What You'll Do:

Conduct Usability Testing: Utilize Tobii eye-tracking technology to analyze how customers interact with our mobile apps, turning data into actionable insights.
Collaborate with Design Teams: Work alongside UX/UI designers to inform app design and functionality improvements based on your research.
Engage in the Research Process: Participate in planning, executing, and analyzing studies, and presenting findings.
Develop User Personas and Journeys: Create detailed user personas and journey maps based on your research outcomes.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various departments to incorporate user feedback into the development process.
Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest trends in usability engineering and eye-tracking technology.

What You'll Need:

Educational Background: Pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science or related fields.
A Passion for UX and Usability: A keen interest in user experience, UX research, and eye-tracking technology.
Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of mobile app design and development
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate across teams.
Prior Experience: Experience with eye-tracking software like Tobii is an advantage but not mandatory.
