What is AtWork?

AtWork is our innovative SaaS solution for physical access control, built on a multi-tenant, high-available microservice architecture. The platform provides a modern, intuitive user interface that allows authorised employees to manage access for colleagues, teams or visitors from the cloud. This access is granted based on identification and enforced via an on-premise controller.

Your responsibilities As Senior Front-end Developer, you will do the following:

• Strategy: You will play a key role in the (continued) development of a completely new web application and actively think about strategies and improvements.
• Development and optimisation: You will work on the development of new features and ensure that our current UI is continuously optimised to improve user experience and performance.
• Design and implement: Together with your team and UX'ers, you shape our solutions that not only meet the ever-increasing expectations of our end customers, but are also scalable and future-proof.
• Security-first: Cyber security is a high priority for us. You are familiar with developing secure applications and ensure that our solutions are protected against misuse and comply with the latest security standards.
  
  

Your team

As Senior Front-end Developer, you will work together in multidisciplinary product development teams within an Agile/Scrum set-up, consisting of front-end developers, back-end developers, tester engineers, UX engineers and DevOps engineers. Clear communication and an informal working atmosphere ensure dynamic collaboration in which everyone can share his/her insights

Required experience and skills As a Senior Front-end Developer, you can empathise with the end user and have a hands-on mentality to devise and work out new solutions. As a Senior, you can take the lead, know how to keep the goal in mind and set the right priorities.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Your experience and success: You have extensive experience as a Senior Front-end Developer and you have also set up several successful front-end architectures for enterprise web applications and propagated them to other developers.
• Knowledge: You have realised many enterprise web applications using Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and used frameworks such as Angular and RxJS. REST and GraphQL APIs are familiar to you.
• Passion for innovation and quality: you go for quality in your work and writing unit tests but you also see automated end-2-end tests as part of your work to create high-quality products for our end customers.
• Language skills: you have an excellent command of the English language and preferably also a command of Dutch.
  
  

Good to know: You are available for 32 -38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are present on our campus in Groenlo at least twice a week.
