Engineer IT Modern Workplace

Task Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Microsoft 365 infrastructure, including but not limited to, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Microsoft Admin portal.
  • Onboard new features in the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Microsoft 365 license management and understanding.
  • Communication equipment deployment and knowledge transfer; this includes Teams based desk phones but also Meeting room equipment running MTR.
  • Keep up standardized, consistent and secure mobile device platforms.
  • Analyse and follow up the constant evolution of Cloud MDM solutions and define the MDM roadmap.
  • Define procedures, provide training, and create support documentation for the IT support.
  • Provide the end user support group training and documentation to ensure end user mobile devices support, deployment, management, tracking and auditing of mobile devices.
  • Ensure 24/7 support of business-critical system by integrating the on call escalation team (on a rotation scheme)

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Extensive knowledge in Azure Entra.
  • Knowledge in Vulnerability management and remediation on a Microsoft 365 level.
  • Extensive knowledge of MDM platforms including but not limited to Intune and Airwatch.
  • Excellent teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills in English with the aim of providing effective support to IT technicians.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position based in Luxembourg.
  • The candidate will work in a Agile, friendly, innovative & operational Azure only environment.
  • Normal office hours are to be expected, with occasional work outside these hours to perform tasks (planned or unplanned) on the environment.
  • The position holder might have to be on stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents.
  • It is expected that during critical incidents the candidate can commit to resolve the incident to the end if required.
  • Valid car drivers license required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
