.NET Core Developer with Azure Job

What Awaits You

You will be part of a DevOps team who is developing a cloud-based application. This solution app will interact with factory positioning systems and, on OPS level, will be expected to support production teams on critical incidents
You will be part of a very exclusive team who has exposure to work with some of the BMW Factories around the world
We are expecting and/or offering the possibility to learn:
Deep Technical Knowledge: Mastery of core technologies, tools, and methodologies in their field (e.g., software development, mechanical engineering, electrical systems)
System Design: Ability to design complex, scalable, and maintainable systems or architectures
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Proficiency in identifying and solving complex issues quickly
Prototyping and Innovation: Developing and iterating on new solutions and approaches
Effective Communication: Conveying complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and executives to align technical solutions with business goals with BMW colleagues from plants
Documentation: Creating comprehensive, maintainable documentation for systems, designs, and processes, main tool will be Confluence and Jira
Analytical Thinking: Breaking down complex problems into manageable components
Creativity: Innovating new approaches to address technical and organizational challenges

What Should You Bring Along

University Degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 2 years of proven experience with .Net Core technology stack is mandatory
At least 1 year of proven experience with Azure Cloud is mandatory
At least 7 years of experience on a similar role is required
On all .NET roles we’re expecting you to be familiar or open to learn following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Platform and Linux. On the monitoring side, we’re expecting you to be familiar or willing to learn Grafana and Prometheus
For all Senior .NET Roles, we’re expecting you to master the following technologies: Azure Cloud Platforms, .NET Core, Clean Code, Unit Testing experience, Real time communication with Kafka Streams or TCP/IP
On CI/CD process side, we’re expecting you to be minimum familiar with the following technologies: Argo CD, Github, Github Actions, Automated Deployment for different environments
Nice to have skills: Terraform, Angular, NodeJS knowledge
Experience working with Agile/Scrum Principles is mandatory
Excellent English verbal and written skills
German communication skills will be a plus
